My Story

The verse John 1:5 holds much significance in my story and the coming of 1FiveDesigns. In February of 2023, I had my first of four surgeries to diagnose and excise endometriosis. In my darkest days of this diagnosis, I have learned to fix my eyes on Christ. Right after I found out I’d be needing a third surgery, I met with a friend who’s story I hold very close to my heart. I was given a necklace that in small yet substantial letters read “JOHN 1:5”.  With Christ, there is light in even the darkest night. With these surgeries came ample recovery time, in which my love for creating balloon garlands/ arches and backdrops both started and grew.
